Here's a rare beauty, still I am reminded of that ominous thriller, "the Perfect Storm"...
Review: Molokai Strait 75' "Hercules"

Designed by noted naval architect Eric Sponberg, the new 75’ Molokai Strait made a 315,000-pound splash at the 2006 Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show. With a solid steel hull and alloy superstructure, this bulbous bow, fear-no-wave brute is aptly named Hercules. In keeping with its namesake, this new expedition is built to venture far and near. A true, blue-water beast, it’s capable of reaching coordinates rarely traveled by boats of this size. (under YF yacht reviews)

Mind you, I've never set foot on anything that resembled a yacht, but I did cross the English Channel on the Hovercraft in a mild storm. Sponberg is an amazing guy, and I'm just tickled to follow in tow. There are places on the Northern Pacific coast where I do not think you would venture a pretty Florida condo with cute little flippers, unless they were (sic) 'angel's wings.'
