Yup, things were getting a tad dull 'til the pot got stirred.
The Female Element, in an otherwise male-dominated industry, has always intrigued me, and that's meant in a wholly positive manner.
I can recall, when my half-heimers allows, back in the '80s, the Marine Bidness actually assigned a CBS poll to determine how many boat owners were members of the fair sex... I think it turned out to be a (then) shocking 5% or so.
Begs the thought-- does anybody ( hint, hint, Judy) have any real numbers that might indicate the current level of female boat owners, captains of industry, hot-stuff yacht brokers... we know of at least one!...in general terms, wimmen involved with our mutual passion?
