I don't think any surveyor would be happy seeing things like this...

A real pity for all the manhours invested.

I once surveyed a refit of a sunken ship, it was no joke. The fuel and luboil go everywhere. All insulation to be replaced. All the cables sticky with fuel (very hard to remove). All equipment to be taken out, cleaned, dried and retested (or replaced). And worst of all, an owner trying to do everything as cheaply as possible.

With a yacht, it's even worse, as the interior is mostly made of wood and to be replaced totally.
