Glad to be part of Forums! I am the US rep for CRN, but not a techie. However, I am told that the master suite 'patio' is on the main deck and far enough aft of the bow that it is allowed to be used underway by MCA. In the event of weather or seas, there is a steel hatch-cover that is hinged overhead. It swings down and is dogged with hydraulic-driven pins, making the area totally secure.
