Think of the MP3 player as a small, portable disk drive. Plug it into a vacant USB port on your computer and you can download and/or save files to the device. If you happen to download some music files, just plug in the included headset and you've got portable tunes.

BTW... I'm really impressed with that camera. It doesn't have all the bells & whistles as my $500 Canon, but the images are just as good. Best of all... it doubles as a hard drive! This means, you don't need software for downloading images. You can plug it into ANY computer and it's automatically recognized as a hard drive.

Both of these items makes great back-ups to their high-end equivilents. I keep the camera in the boat bag and the MP3 in my gym bag. If they're lost or stolen, who cares!
