MB quality problems, yes they had rust on late 90:s models due to the water based paint and some robots that didnīt reach all areas. A lot of replacing doors especially. When the new 211 E-class came there were reports of electrical gremlins, like on the newer BMW:s.
Today I think they have learned the lesson and quality is getting back to where it was when my old W124 was made...
