Yes, there is a resemblence, but no comparison when it comes to being civilized. I had a 308 many years ago. A rare horse with a glass body and Webber carbs. Sold it within 3 months.

A friend has a Testarossa. A friend of his has an F-40 (or 50, don't recall). I drove both of them at a local track. Love to look at 'em. Didn't like driving 'em.

For me, it was like the first time I drove the new Viper (about 2 months ago). I've wanted one since 1996. One ride later, I was cured. The venom has been flushed from my veins.

I must be getting old, because I prefer a refined car over anything else. Don't laugh, but I consider the new Corvette about the best bang for the buck on the road, but with an NSX, you could punish it like a rental car and put it away wet.

Speaking of Vette's... have you seen the new ZR-1??? A 427 pumping out 500hp! That's enough to eliminate gray hairs and make a man's mid-life crisis the best year of his life.
