Heesen Launches Man of Steel...
September 12, 2005 – Oss, The Netherlands – On September 2, Heesen Yachts launched the fourth yacht in the successful 3700 Series. Man of Steel, 123’ semi displacement, aluminum hull with aluminum superstructure with 16V4000 engines has a speed up to 32 knots. The boat is built to ABS classification.
Man of Steel was purchased by a North American client and the exterior styling and interior design was done by Omega Architects. The yacht illustrates the high degree of freedom the owner has in creating his own atmosphere on board. The use of bamboo in the interior creates a peaceful and very natural ambience.
The 3700 Series has been a great success for Heesen Yachts. The previous launches in this series are Lady Ingeborg, SeaScape and Let It Be. Man of Steel is the 127th vessel built at the Heesen Yachts facility in Holland.
