Touche, it is carbon monoxide--which we can all recognize as a byproduct of burning petroleum.
Carbon dioxide is still unhealthy in high concentrations and the relative increase of carbon dioxide in relation to the percentage of oxygen appears to be rising. I know someone will say, "we don't have enough proof upon which to base any changes in our behavior." The problem with this line of thinking is that if we wait for definitive proof, it could be the very damage we fear.
