Leopard Launches 46-meter "Pure One"
Leopard Yachts is part of the Rodriguez Group of companies that includes Mangusta. Rodriguez Group announced that the 46-meter yacht under construction would be launched in June of 2008. Just recently launched, the 46-meter carries the name "Pure One".
Pure One is a 46.20-meter speedster designed for high performance cruising. A more than generous 8.20-meter overall beam will provide a spacious interior. Besides that, she will only draw 1.50-meters of water. When fully completed she will weigh nearly 170 tonnes.
3 X MTU 16V 2000 M93 2,400 HP Common Rail engines will power Pure One to a maximum speed of 32 knots. Her propulsive force will come by way of 2 X KaMeWa Water Jets and 1 X central booster. At full capacity, Pure One will be able to carry 35,000 LT of fuel.
Appearance wise, the 46-meter Leopard has a black and white paint scheme. The paint scheme aids the sweeping lines of the design resulting in an aggressive looking yacht.
