Tecnomar Velvet 42-meter Sport Yacht
The Tecnomar yard has introduced more lines, models and designs to their overall fleet. The Velvet 42 is another one of their sport models catering to those who love speed and performance without compromising the utmost functionality that can be oozed from a sports yacht.
The Velvet 42 design is everything but 'boxy'. She is sleek, slender, sport, sophisticated and fast looking. Vertical rectangular windows in the hull draws visual interest to the lower portion of the yacht. Up on the superstructure, the well curved and carved sleek windows that flow from windshield aft to the back curve. This makes a strong design statement but also provides full view of the outside world as it zips past at 33-knots!
2 X MTU 16V 4000 M93 engines are connected to two fixed pitch propellers. The engines also feed from 25,000 LT fuel tanks. The GRP vessel has accommodation for up to twelve in six cabins or ten in five. Four cabins are there to house up to five crew. The composite planing fleet for Tecnomar now reads; Nadara 45, Nadara 38, Nadara 30, Nadara 30 RPH and Velvet 42,Velvet 36, Velvet 30.
