And should a boarding ladder really be a removable item that is stowed? What is someone falls overboard in truly frigid water. How long does that person have before hypothermia sets in? Probably less time than finding and deploying the ladder. This one deploys with a press of the red button...
Ever run a boat with Eisenglass wrapped around the flybridge? In some climates, you have no choice. It can get pretty hot without ventilation. Oh look... Queenship thought of that too!
Nothing screams easy access like a hinged instrument panel!
And should a handrail pass-thru be something that flips back, flopping about and pinching fingers? No, it should slide away, cleverly concealing itself within the main handrail...
Is the bow broken on the new Q74? Not hardly. This break is actually a very effective spray-knocker that runs aft and blends into the chine.
Innovative ideas continue inside too, but we'll save all of them for the complete YF review. Until then, here's an example of what to expect down below. How 'bout a pop-up flat panel that can also be watched in the down position! You can have your view and watch TV too!
Got wrinkles? Forget Retinol. Q-Ship has the cure...
Believe it or not, the engine room hasn't been detailed yet. Actually, there no details to clean! This is the epitome of KISS. Many systems are placed throughout the boat for easier access and a less demanding environment. The Q74 review will follow when images come available. Special thanks to Jim Hawkins and his wife for being such gracious hosts and good cooks. Hotel Hawkins was the best place we stayed!
I took about 1000 pictures on my trip. Most are detail shots I'll use for editorial at a later date, or when someone needs an opinion on which yard is best suited for their needs. Beyond that, I took a few pictures along the way, such as the highway that runs north from Vancouver to Whistler, BC... the proverbial Highway to Heaven, where we stayed overnight and enjoyed the picturesque setting of Whistler Village.

We brought back memories that are forever engraved in our minds and have likely changed our perception of all that is beautiful. Mostly, we met some really great people.
Time to get some sleep. I'm one tired puppy...
