New Design: Codecasa Yachts Unveils 72M Superyacht

Codecasa unveils new 72-meter platform

Italian yard Codecasa is working on completing the 50-meter open sport yacht as well as the second hull in the Vintage series, hull F.75. However, in the background, the yard is working on developing a 72-meter platform from which a few designs have been drawn up.

The designs range from a vintage style and arrangement with straight bow to a modern a conventional styling with contemporary bow. The other design also has a straight bow but the styling of the superstructure is modern and sleek. While the designs are sharing a common 72-meter hull, the lay-out and arrangement are totally different from the other.

The conventional design with the contemporary bow features the largest pool on the aft end of the bridgedeck and wrapped on the foward end by a seven-seater bar. This design has provision for landing a helicopter on the bow. The other two designs have helipads on the aft decks. Since the designs are sharing a common hull, main tender storage is almost identical in tender garages in the aft end of the hull. The designs are simply projects for the moment but it is nice to see where Codecasa is projecting their future endeavours. Below is a rendering and accompanying arrangement to the modern vintage version.
