Sunrise Yachts 63-meter superyacht in build
The first of two 63-meter superyachts -currently- is under construction by Turkish builder Sunrise Yachts. Work on the hull 601 has been progressing at pace with the superstructure now joined to the hull making the shell of the yacht completed.
Espen Oeino drew the exterior lines and Naval Architecture of the new 63-meter while British firm Redman Whitely Dixon are contracted on the interior design. Hull 601 is expected to carry twelve guests in six staterooms. Twin MTU 12V 4000 M63 engines will run the 63-meter and her top speed has been dialed in at 16-knots. A range of 4,500 nautical miles at efficient cruising speeds can be expected. Delivery of hull 601 should be in 2014. Just recently the second (602) Sunrise Yachts 63-meter was sold.
