RMK Marine launches 4500 Ron Holland-designed megayacht
The technical launch of the Ron Holland-designed RMK Marine 4500 has been launched from the RMK Marine facilities in Turkey. Designed for the experienced yacht owner for long distance voyaging, this new yacht has been built to high quality specifications with long term low maintenance as priority requirements. Particular attention has been given to ensure an efficient and sea kindly hull design and exceptional interior volume for a 45m yacht.
The style of the exterior of the RMK4500 is a unique and subtle combination of elegant flowing lines while containing both the practical amenities and facilities of a yacht and a purposeful stable hull. Ron Holland's intention was to create a yacht, optimised for long-distance cruising, regardless of weather conditions and cruising with family and friends in the Mediterranean, which fulfilled several specific requirements. These included exterior styling unique to this design and distinguishing her interior arrangements by the full beam cabin and studio on the owner's private deck.
The interior styling has been a collaboration between Ron Holland and Design Unlimited and of course Ron Holland Design worked on the exterior and the Naval Architecture of the vessel. Some quick basic statistics include a length of 45-meters, beam of 9.2-meters, draft of 2.6-meters and a displacement of 465-tonnes.
