Fincantieri 145-meter "Fortissimo" superyacht
New designs have been surfacing from Fincantieri and collaborating design firms. One of the new designs is a 145-meter long project called "Fortissimo". The collaboration with the
Fortissimo project is between Fincantieri and Ken Freivokh Design.
The vessel in synopsis is very sleek and slender yet powerful looking. Not surprising that Fincantieri conjured a concept project such as the
Fortissimo, as they have had a success line in building Fast Ferries and Naval Applications. Or just look at the "Destriero", the famous Blue Ribbon winner.
Ken Freivokh was called onto the project with the futuristic and modern ideals being fleshed out. The gigayacht is not only futuristic but also very fast. The nearly 7,000-tonne yacht is envisioned to have a top speed in the region of 35-knots.
This will be made possible using diesel engines producing some 70,000 Kw. They are to be connected to four waterjets for propulsion and steering. There will be plenty of room onboard as the guest accommodation is only for sixteen and the owner. A crew of forty-eight will serve the yacht's functions. The vessel will feature a number of tenders, a 10.5-meter Limo, 10.5-meter Open and two 6.2-meter general purpose. Another yacht with a plumb bow with alot of power 'below decks', seven deck lay out, plenty of room with a futuristic look,
Fortissimo!
