Heesen completes 55-meter "Quinta Essentia"
Heesen completed and delivered the largest of their launches for the year, the 55-meter "Quinta Essentia". The gleaming red and white vessel is easy to capture the eye and on the interior the more than sumptuous design was by Michela Reverberi in association with Ken Freivokh.
The exterior by Dobroserdov Design in collaboration with Omega Architects and naval architecture in-house by Heesen. The all aluminum semi displacement yacht is classed to the following: ABS +A1 Yachting Service, AMS.
Prior to delivery, Quinta Essentia
exceeded expectations on sea trials by travelling faster than the contracted top speed. Top speed was slated at 24 knots and she ran 25 knots at half load. On her delivery and maiden cruise she ran from the Dutch port of Hellevoetsluis to Capri taking approximately 6.5 days at 16-knots average.
YN 14955 (Quinta Essentia
) was the first yacht to be delivered for the 2011 Summer season. It has been busy times at Heesen as evidenced by several other deliveries for Summer. The 47-meter "Ariadna", 50-meter "Ice Angel" and the 37-meter racing car themed "Aurelia".
