The ASV NAMASTE 72’ is a joint project between Studio Sculli and Effect Ships International (ESI). The ASV concept utilizes a special lift fan system that can support over 70% of the vessel’s weight on a cushion of pressurized air.
With the fan system engaged, a 40 – 50 ton vessel will be lifted over 20 inches out of the water, thus reducing wetted surface and hull/water resistance to a fraction compared with conventional boats.
