Cizgi 42-meter "Jasmin II" motor yacht
The new 42-meter explorer type yacht currently under construction at the Cizgi Shipyard in Turkey is progressing well and is expected to be launched for Summer 2011. She is the successor to the old 37-meter "Jasmin" (built by RMK) and hence is being labeled as the "Jasmin II".
The
Jasmin II has an overall beam of just over 9-meters and a draft of 2.72-meters. A designed weight of 480 tonnes keeps this new yacht sitting well. She has been constructed with a steel hull and mostly aluminum for the superstructure. Composite materials have also made way into the superstructure as well.
Jasmin II is powered by twin 737 horse power engines to give her an expected top speed of 13 knots. On the inside, the interior has been penned by the well known Art Line Studios. Ten guests will be able to be accommodated in the five available staterooms. This is inclusive of the master stateroom.
Jasmin II is being constructed to ABS class and LY2 code.
