Feadship completes 45-meter "Gladiator"
Feadship recently completed the fourth 45-meter Vantage class yacht known under the name "Sirius". They also have completed the sale of this new yacht in conjunction with a well known broker having her renamed by the owners. The fourth unit is now known as "Gladiator" and was recently handed over to her eager owners.
The styling and naval architecture of Gladiator
has been done by Sinot and De Voogt. Akin to her sisters, she can play host for up to twelve guests in six luxurious cabins. The exclusive custom-series F45 Vantage is the result of several years of R&D and many decades of experience. It has been designed for clients desiring matchless Feadship quality levels in the ‘midsize' range without having to invest the higher costs and greater amount of time involved in a fully custom project.
According to Feadship, the owners took delivery of Gladiator
on the 27th of October 2010. Gladiator‘s
hull, superstructure, bulkheads and exterior style were set by Feadship in advance, with the equipment portfolio also being pre-selected. She has a ‘Miami' interior (one of four customized options for the F45), featuring classic art deco styling, a fresh feel and contrasting woods within a comfortable environment.
Another crucial advantage of this award-winning custom-series platform is the fact that the delivery times for owners is significantly less than would be the case for fully customized 45-metre Feadship. The next F45 will become available in the spring of 2011 and be the first to feature a ‘Nautical' interior. Fabric covered walls in dark wooden frames and a high contrast in carefully selected materials will offer a distinguished setting to the new owners.
